Yes because there is real teachers and kids and no one is "magical" or anything like that. Plus in the book the kids believe that there teacher has xray vision like kids do believe things that realy arent true and/or cant be proven. And all the kids have names that arent reglaur instead there like Tom,Robert,and for girls Brianna.
